I bought a fuel filter from Shucks aka O'reilly's.
I noticed when I put it on it was half the size of the OEM filter.

I checked the book to make sure it was the correct one and it was...

Whats up with this?
Will it change the fuel pressure or flow any?

I've been getting slight pinging on highway and uphill and I'm wondering if this is the reason. I changed it out about 3 months ago and can't remember when the pinging started.

 

i went to change the one on my 01 250 and they gave me a smaller one also. the smaller one will work fine but.. it wont fit tight in that clamp. i exchanged mine for the wider one. i didnt want it all loose and just supported by the lines. i think 150 and 250 are the same size so..
