Unhappy Engine won't start after replacing belt

My Serp. Belt broke because of A/C Compressor lockup. Replace A/C with pulley and now engine won't start. Turns over great, but will not start. I have a 1997 F150. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I agree with allenm- it was obviously running before you changed the belt- go back and look at all the areas that you touched in replacing the comp. and belt. Replacing those 2 things would not have any affect on it's running. So check over all of the wiring to make sure nothing came unplugged. Most likely where you'll find the problem. With the price of gas- you sure it's got gas in it? LOL Don't chase your tail by looking for things that weren't touched, that's not likely where it is. Good Luck.

rherrin- I know it's not likely this at all but you need to check the fuel shut-off switch. There is no reason for it to have been triggered but I have seen them trigger sometimes when you couldn't figure why they did. It's too easy to check it- press the button and make sure that isn't it.
