Asides from superchargers, turbos, etc. After cold air intake, programmer, headers/mufflers, spark plug/spark plug wires/throttle body spacer- lol, What else can I do to pull a decent amount of power ? I have seen lightweight pulley kits etc. Are those worth the 200-300 bucks? Or is there one more thing I can do for a 10-30hp increase?

 

Ok first off TB spacers are a waste of money. I’d say E-fans, under drive pullies, as far as headers make sure you go with long tube, shoitys do nothing. magnaflow seems to be one of the best mufflers to go with, mine are sitting in the garage waiting on my tips to come in to be put on, you can regear 4.10, 4.30, 4.56 depending on tire size and what you want, that will make it feel more powerful. and after all that go with a custom programmer to get the most of all your mods. thats all i can think of right now.

 

the only other thing i can think of would be either a port and polish job, or some stage II better flowing heads and custom cams. oh yeah, and if you have a 4.2 or a 4.6, drop in a 5.4

 

e-fans and underdrive pullies

 

What hp & tq are e fans usually able to free up? I am still considering this mod but all the problems I hear with them scare me away

Sounds like the search button is a great mod, 15-20 hp is great

 

You could hire a small band of ex navy seal mercenaries and attempt a coup of the US government.
Or you could take over a small obscure island somewhere in the Caribbean.

Yeah I have always looked at E-fans but everyone tells me they are unreliable and don't last 2+ yrs. And what brand of underdrive pulley kit do you guys recommend?

I read that ecn though the blades seem to be turning slow, the speed at the tip of the blade is just shy of 650 mph?! Is that true? If the blades were to spin faster they could break the sound barrier?

 

the only time efans are unreliable is when the person who installed them is an idiot. they either install them wrong or bought the cheapest parts they could find because they wanted cheap hp
