Maf Sensor Cleaning

looking for advice on cleaning a MAF sensor. recently installed a Banks RamAir which was extremely noisy and didn't seem to do much so I returned it. Now it seems as though my truck is sucking the gas which makes me think oil from the filter is on the sensor.

Thanks,
Mark

Spray it down real good with MAF cleaner let it dry completely and I would disconnect the battery to let the computer reboot.

Yeap... goto autozone or your local auto parts store.. they will have either "MAF cleaner" or "Quick-dry electronics cleaner"... both are the exact same.

Spray it down real good (DO NOT touch the wires, or place the spray flow to close to them.) and let it dry. Disconnection the battery while doing this is a good idea.. it'll reset the computer and force it to re-learn the parameters.

its a special torx bit bolt head. you can find them at autozone as well. i believe it is a size ten. i could only find a set of 6 so just pick that up making sure it has at least a 10 or 9 and make sure they are the bits with the hole in the center.
