I need some help on figuring out what is the problem with my 2000 5.4, 4x4 SuperCab truck. When ever I'm out on the street and leave the car for over 15 min and come back to start it and wont, it does crank but won’t start until I open and close the ignition switch for about six times, after that the truck will start can anyone HELP ME!!!

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge, or know someone you can borrow one from?

 

Just from the symptoms assuming there are no electrical issues you are not getting fuel fuel or the PATS is not allowing the engine to start. Does the PATS light flash with the key on and engine off? Press and hold the trip odometer button while turning the ignition switch to Run. When tESt appears release it.
press and release it till dtc appears with a number. Record all the numbers with the a dtc code in front of them.
