Nope, I added a new album. I cannot see my old album or the album of anybody else.

Your right about the Flywheel being a bit dirty on the bottom side. That first picture of the engine is indeed after I detailed it a bit.

The picture below is after I scraped a bit of dirt off of it.

The mower is around 10 years old and I think the rings are getting worn. There is a tube that goes into the air cleaner from the crankcase and it tends to suck oil into the carb and saturate the air filter with oil. I am thinking that there is additional blowby past the rings and it is increasing the pressure in the crankcase forcing more oil up to the air intake. I guess I should buy a compression gauge. I wonder how much a shop would charge to replace the rings.

Huh, it's right here isn't it ? -

Wow - I have to say , I've never seen one that bad. It didn't run did it? Looks like an OHV engine, but I can't place it? - I thought I've seen them all. I know what it's not.. The casting color/design is throwing me off a bit. What the heck is it?

Guess would be a Snapper w/Tecumseh ?

Thanks for that link, jbrew. I can see my gallery from there and look at other galleries also. Clicking on "Photo Galleries" take me to some new f150 web page though.

Yes, it is an Briggs and Stratton I/C Quiet OHV engine on A Snapper yard cruiser.

Larry.

I was sure it wasn't a Briggs - Damn, I was wrong, thought it was a Tecumseh - Oh well. Mann, I dislike Tecumseh's. I have Briggs Stratton's almost 20 years old that still run strong. I have one Snapper w/Tecumseh - about 12 years old that I gave up on. A 5hp Snow-Thrower that would run , just not good. I use a little Honda track drive in it's place. I won a big 11 hp Craftsmen Snow-Thrower W/BRIGGS from Sears 2 years ago, but that little 5hp Honda kicks it's a$$

Anyway, I clicked on your camera in the top right corner of your post. Actually , there's not a camera anymore, just a blank box but I clicked on that and it went.

I do not see any cameras or blank boxes. I wonder if Mozilla Firefox has anything to do with my problems. I guess I should boot my other partition and see if it works with explorer.

Interesting, I do see the blank box in Internet explorer and clicking on it takes me to my gallery.

I have Windows service pack 3 on the Windows XP running Mozilla. I wonder if I can go back to explorer from Mozilla.

Used Internet Explorer on Windows XP with service pack 3. I see the blank box and clicking it takes me to my gallery. I guess I should quit using Mozilla Firefox.

Firefox - well that's why you don't see the empty boxes. I tried to set up firefox many times and didn't have the patience or the luck with it - specially w/add blocker. It's a shame because it's suppose to be more secure than IE.

Add blocker seems to work well, but couldn't get to work with this site. Firefox by itself didn't work as well as Explorer.

IMO a browser that's hard to use and isn't fully compatible like IE is - it isn't worth the time.

World Browser has been easiest by far and the quickest I found. Eventually I always revert back to IE for site compatibility reasons.

XP is good , I like it and have work with it flawlessly for along time. BUT , not with service pack 3. I went back to SP2 after trying 3 many times over.

Im using a Lap-Top now (out of town) w/Vista and like it so far - very easy to use.

I would boot the other partition if that's the you want to do it. Actually, if you have the room - I think it's better to have two browsers on one partition - it's always good to have one to fall back on, specially in the partition you choose to use the most.

If you have XP W/SP2 on one partition and XP W/SP3 on the other - That would be a good idea if your unsure about the newer one. I had problems with it, but doesn't mean you will.

Okay, it must be the sensor. I have checked the other stuff out.

So how do I know if I am getting the right one? I have seen different types for the same part number.

Just head over to the dealer and pay the big bucks - I would for that model. It's not like mine , which I can get anywhere. But yea, avoid future headaches all together and do it that way for the plastic ones.

I don't know what they'll charge you - be prepared! I paid $149.00 for a Explorer DPFE last winter / at the dealership. You can take a chance with third party suppliers and pay half price for one , but with the way it's been going, you'll be replacing it again inside of 6 months.
