so my service engine soon light came on about 30 min after towing for the first time with my truck, the trailer was about 4500 pounds i dont know if that matters, do u think there is any realtion between the towing and the light. im scheduled to tow the trailer about 2 hours from home in the morning, do u think that will b a problem with the light on.

ps i wasnt sure if i should post this in the engine or towing forum but scince im more concernd with the engine a picked this one

 

Without the code its only possible to determine if its a emissions problem or not. If you can't feel any difference in the way its running more than likely its a emissions code. Either way you need to read the code so we can help you.
