V8 Swap

is it possible to put a 5.0 in a truck with the 4.2?

things im concerned with:
tranny/bell housing-i have a manual
motor mounts
space between trans and radiatior
drive shaft
ac
fuel pump

the doner vehilical is a mercury mountainer, i have the whole truck so electrical isnt going to be an issue

i was planing on putting on bbk headers with a costom system with highflow cats, magnaflow mufflers(gotta research them more) dumped.

The tranny bellhousing pattern is the same. The motor mounts may have to be tweeked to fit. Measure both engines and if need be use electric fans in front of the rad as pushers. The driveshaft should not be an issue as the tranny is not moving. The A/C piping will not line up but any competent shop can hook you up. (pun) The fuel pump will be fine. It supplies a 5.4 stock. If not a $115.00 Walbro 255 l/hr kit will fix that.
