98 4six oil pan drop

Whats required to drop the oil pan? Remove anything major out of the way? I wanted to drop it just to clean it, re-gasket, maybe clean the pump screen.

I think thats a major ordeal. I've never donr it with a modular but with a windsor it was nearly impossible. I've heard with modulars pulling the engine is the easy way.

thats gonna be a pain. i had to change one on my dakota because it rotted thru and i had to jack up the motor. its either that or drop the front differential down. either way its a pain.
