Has anyone ever had the engine fail safe mode turn on in the information center.
Today after I had gotten to work with no issues at all I went to leave for lunch and the engine fail safe came on. Temp and oil were good, No clear leaks under the truck and nothing else to indicate any issue at all as far as performance.
I turned off the engine to check all the above then after finding nothing started her back up and the fail safe went away. I made it back home about a 5 milke drive with no problems at all.
My truck is 2004 F-150 Lariat supercab. 3v 5.4L auto 4x4 with 83,000mi.
My question is has anyone else had this if so did you figure out what caused it
