I Love Ebay!!!!!

Just received my latest ebay score for my truck. a brand new pair of JBA shorty headers. Called JBA and they quoted me almost $800 for the headers from them. Got these headers off ebay for $260 shipped to my door!!

itll probably be a while before i put them in but at least i have them. this brings me to a total savings of about $700 on 3 mods for my truck. YAY EBAY

Why buy headers that don't benefit performance ? Probably why you got a good deal

Seriously, you MIGHT see very little gains on the Dyno, but there's been Dyno's posted here - Results - NO gains w/shorties.. Just seems like allot of work/expense for nothing..

They look nice tho.

Not everything is about HP. If I wanted HP I would have bought a Mustang. I do wnt to know how the install goes. I assume it will mount to the factory exhaust and you will not have to mod the cats.

crash makes a good point, its not all about hp. i have a 700hp twin turbo mustang in my garage. when i feel the need for more power ill drive that around.

anyways, the shorty v long tube debate has been going around for years. not looking for 50rwhp with this mod. id be happy with 5rwhp and a better exhaust note. already have a catback installed, soon to be headers and then changing cats is next. headers are just one more link in the chain.

I guess I don't understand ? Why not have both tone and power/torque if it can be had.

I don't have to understand do I ?

Good luck LT - I think Matt Adams has a shorty install on his site. That's the guy who wrote the plug change in the tech articles. I believe you can get to his site from there in your interested.
