2004 5.4

Hey guys I am looking at buying a 2004 F150 super crew with the 5.4 it has a 3 inch exhaust and a 6 inch lift with 35 inch tires, truck has 67K miles . Are there any problems I should be aware of that these trucks have being a 2004?? I know the owner of the truck and I know he took very good care of it never off roaded it or beat on it all the miles are freeway miles. Any input would be great. I know he just had the spark plugs changed at 65K and had the tranny flushed out along with the radiator and the front diff. Thanks for any help

Just plug problems - that's the first three valve in these trucks and they go like hell with a good tune There really under tuned from the factory.

I wouldn't hesitate since the plugs were just done. Nice truck.

Cam phaser and lash adjuster tick also... 04 and 05 models are affected by this. E-brake actuators were known for freezing up on these as well....Chances are at 65k most of the bugs have been taken care of. I would ask if the Cam phasers were replaced, it is an expensive job.
