E-fan question
With that set up it may very well take both fans all the time to maintain, leaving no room for super hot/heavy working days. Your truck doesn't exactly have the biggest radiator in the world so it needs all the help it can get. Most 16" S blade fans will pull almost that much with one.
or go with a junkyard lincoln or late model year thunderbird fan (18inch) that moves 4300 cfm. Then get this controller:

Thanks guys
I have an e-fan setup already but it is a junk yard fan and I think the bearings must be gone or something. Every time they start up you can feel them vibrate through out the truck. And with the the hot weather starting to come I don't went them to crap out on me.
I think I will get two 16" fans.
One other question what is too high of an amp draw? The fans I am looking at have an amp draw of 8.4.

I have a kit sold by Mike Troyer. It drops right in and plugs right up. You won't have to worry about fabricating parts or brackets, or worry about the electrical draw.
another fan that works great is the Ford Taurus fan, it moves 3800cfm. As for current draw, it depends on the controller...The DCcontrols controller does a soft start, starting the fan at slow speed and bringing it up to speed.

That is a problem when you buy auto parts at a junk yard. Remember that you are buying someone else's "junk". I'm not against "automobile recycling". It's a great way to save a few dollars and get what you need. You just have to keep in mind that you are not buying anything new with a warranty. I've always stayed away from certain things like used or re-capped tires, or anything else that you don't want to fail (like electrical parts). But it is a great way to get your hands on things like body panels, window cranks, dash buttons, signal lens caps, et cetera.

do you have a contact address there?
Oh yea, I'm sure you've heard or know about this, but your factory temp gauge in the dash is a completely useless ornament. I have monitored mine with a real one and mine reaches the "normal" resting place right around 160*. I have seen my water temp at 230* and guess what that needle in the dash did...not a darn thing!! So unless you've got a real gauge you don't truely know what kind of job it's doing.
