I vote anything '04+. I ended up getting a 2004 Reg Cab, Short Box XLT last month. Only 8K miles and 12.5K dollars (5.4, but no 4x4). At that mileage, I'm (hopefully) not going to have to worry about spark plugs for quite some time. I'll say that I really do like the 5.4, but I'd guess that the 4.6 would fit most peoples needs.
