Slight Miss

Hey Guys. At cruising speeds on the freeway I've got a slight tick of a miss. It does it at 30 sec. to minute intervals. Bugs ya to death on a long haul. Idles and pulls up to speed smooth. Its only when you're holding the throttle at a constant speed. Only has 7k on the clock. Think maybe water??

How is the warranty standings on your application?

Find a reputable dealer, and, get the service manager and take him for a ride. Better yet, get the TECH that will be doing the work. That way you can vouch that they IN FACT duplicated the problem.

You *MAY* have water, but, with the problems that were being worked out at ford, while your truck was being built, if I know ford, you could have a number of goofy parts in there.

But, I can't stress enough to find a REPUTABLE service dept to do this.

Well, you shouldn't have to worry about paying when you are still well within the parameters of your warranty.

Maybe check out some other service departments if you are not happy or comfortable with the one you are dealing with now.

Keep us informed on the outcome. I am sure this problem may be duplicated with another member sooner or later.

Good Luck!
