Just looking over some of the features of an Edge programmer for the '97-'03 trucks and I noticed that oil temp is not a function that you can monitor but, it says it gives a warning for high oil temp. I'm curious how that can be and also curious as to what temp you get the warning if that is in fact the case.

Then on another note...you '97-'03 guys with the programmer...was the performance increase really that noticable and worth the money??

Is the Edge the way to go or is there better programmers out there for our truck??

 

yes, i did notice a difference and it is nice to have all of the options and guages that come with the edge, the diagnostic check is also a good thing to have. it tells you what the code is, not how to fix it or what it is causing it though. i like it
