P2135 -- ETC throttle position sensor A/B correlation
The pcm flagged a concern indicationg that the throttle position 1 and tp 2 disagree by more than a calibrated limit
possible causes:
Tp shorted internally to VREF
tp harness is shorted to voltage
tpsensor signal wires are shorted together
damaged or bad tp sensor

got this from my mitchel ondemand software.

SilverF150FX4,
I'm in the same boat, though a little different codes. Mine is an 05' 5.4 3v and the at 50k, it died riding down the road and threw two codes" P2104 and P2112. I had it check and it is was pin-pointed to the TAC-throttle actuator controller. I have a friend that's a Master FMC tech and he said it's something to do with the throttle body and/or throttle body sensor. I'm beginning to wonder if there's an issue with these throttle body s/u's. The local Ford dealer wants to change the whole throttle body s/u and reprogram my PCM yet they haven't even seen my truck. Another dealer said to have my throttle body, etc cleaned with the BG system they have. My truck cranked back up and for the past few days has ran fine. I'll report back should it happen again. I don't have a check engine light or wrench light on, nor is it in the limp mode. Post what is wrong b/c mine might be in a similar situation. I'll do the same.

Thanks for the info-- any repair solutions? The problem happens sporaticly, cold start up or warm engine, it flashes the wrench and goes to limp mode, then the check engine light on. You can turn the key off and wrench goes away and runs fine for a while.

the dealer can tell you what the code is. Or Advance, autozone. They might not know what to actually do but it gets you in the ballpark. I found this on the internet:

"Here is the factory diagnosis instructions. The code 2106 relates to the electronically controlled throttle body:

DV: Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Throttle Position (TP) Sensor, Throttle Control Motor DV: Introduction"

Sounds like something is going on w/n the throttle body or sensor, maybe like mine.

Would this be just the indication that it has gone into limp mode--because of the 2135 code bad or shorted tp sensor and if so is the repair more than likely to replace thetp sensor. Thanks

I can't tell you about the reprogram but the sensor is immediately on the left of the throttle body if you are looking at the motor. It is held in place by two bolts with the connection right beside it. It's simple to take off however I'm not sure about the reprogram thingy.
