I agree with a couple of the above threads. Check your cat converters. I was having the same problem and had to have both replaced. Power came back and mpg too. Mine only had 22,000 mi on them and they were bad.

Ok that sounds good!

Im gonna have my cats checked out too and maybe see if any of these problems could exist b/c of the torque converter.

OK to clear some things up.

Cats where checked they said they had the correct pressure or something to that effect. (I am not a mechanic)

All filters have been checked/replaced
I did a minor cleaning of the TB/intake short of removing it and doing a real fine job.
changed the spark plugs and cables.

It seriously feels like the brakes are on all the time but they are not even dragging.

And yes i am stock

well trust me pro diagnosis will save you a ton of headache I spent two weeks throwing parts at my truck and this is what i found was wrong with it

https://www.f150online.com/galleries...300&anum=16452

that is a 2 inch peice of rubber hose that goes from the fuel pump to the hard lines coming out of the tank so yes throwing parts at it is not a good thing I spent damm near $700 to fix a $0.26 peice of damm rubber

if you are not getting codes (CEL) then make sure the shop tests the fuel system pressure

well then you might want to take the entire TB off and give it a good cleaning my 99 with 206000 was horrific there is a very good thread here on cleaning the tb dedicate a few hours and a half case of tb or I used carb cleaner some q-tips rags and go to town the ports from my egr were nearly blocked solid and the elbow was just nasty

you may also want to have your injectors bench tested and cleaned&dressed i got mine done for 45$ I think.... anyway it wasnt bad just pop them off the truck take them down and the test the spray change the filter baskets new o-rings and pop them back on
