Scan my 2002 f150 4.6l it came up p0305. I just replaced this coil, and have been driving it and its been fine. also a p0316 came up. what is that code? I had checked the sparkplug and it looked fine. thanks for the help joe.

 

Joe P0316 is Misfire detected during startup - first 1000 revolutions.

 

pulled out #5 coil and the conducyor spring stayed on the sparkplug.returned old one and bought a new one. truck runs fine again. do you think that spring vibrated off?

 

Did you use enough dielectric grease?

 

I put inside the boot, and around the base. should I also put on the top part of the boot? thanks joe
