i think ford makes the limited slip themselves. eaton makes good LSD and the ones that come stock from ford are junk so i doubt ford is getting them from any reputable company if they arent making them themselves

I'm running a Ford racing L/S diff. It was a little over 200 bucks and is holding up to over 500 RWHP. So,,,I wouldn't call it junk!
The Eaton is a better diff but it's 500 bucks!
Unless your doing some serious offloading,,,the ford diff will be fine. Unless you have the extra money for the Eaton.

I know Eaton supplies Ford diff's for the Lincoln LS. I know this because I went through 4 of them in six months time, thankfully under warranty. I believe Eaton makes a great product, but they make what they are told to produce, Ford specs just suck.
