Can you get/read the SES codes on a 2000 f150 without a code reader?

I know on some newer trucks you can get the SES light to flash out the trouble code by by working the accelerator pedal. EX. key on, pump pedal 5 times, wait 7 seconds, hold pedal to floor for 10 sec., then the SES ight flashes out the codes.

 

You can't.

You have to use a scanner/code reader. Period. End of story.
