HHO conversion

Has anyone tried the HHO hybrid conversion on their truck? I heard of a guy in Plantation, Fl. who has one installed and is getting 30 to 35 mpg.

I heard a guy had a bird fly up his butt and is now feeling "goosey".

Seriously:

Anyone with a years worth of chemistry will tell you there's nothing such as HHO.

Google "debunk hho"

hho is a made up term for brown's gas and in theroy if you can produce enough hydrogen-oxygen mix you could considerably reduce the fuel air-flow mix thus increasing your fuel mileage but you would most likely have to re tune the ecm so it dosnt just overide the benifit but most of the H-O generators ive seen would not put out enough volume to fit the bill

Testing

The majority of significant gas mileage improvements occur with carbureted engines. Your vehicles ECM will adjust for the additional fuel and any gas mileage improvements you see initially will decline over time. There are all sorts of MAP sensors enhancers and whatnot but I don't give them any clout.
BTW, HHO is the term given to the gas produced from elctrolysis.
Some others are Klien gas or Browns gas.

HHO, Hydroxy, Brown's Gas, whatever you want to call it, it's all the same. Just a stoichiometric mixture of hydrogen and oxygen.

The guy in Florida wouldn't be running a HAFC, would he? That's actually about average for a well-maintained F150 with a properly tuned kit...

Dang, that acronym made me curious so I googled it.

Since I'm always interested in reading about scams and the scammers behind them, I'll be busy for awhile

Drove a Toyota for testing today with a hydrogen generator installed. The car didn't run any different with the system on and there was zero fuel mileage increases. This system uses potassium hydroxy to get the hydrogen gas as water will NEVER be a viable source. This system also includes a programmer for changing the mapping to take advantage of the hydrogen. There were no advantages to the system.

But it has fuel magnets, it has to work

This load of horse puckey has been showing up on a lot of boards this week. It's either gas prices or the phase of the moon. (Or too many technical illiterates with internet access.)
