P0119 - Intermittent Coolant Sensor

2004, 5.4 3v - check engine light just came one. Autozone says the code is P0119 - Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit Intermittent. Anyone else run into this one? Ideas on possible fix? Did a little reading and it doesn't sound like this motor has a regular coolant temperature sensor, but has something different located inside the intake?

Thanks for any help.

On a 2V 5.4 motor

I did not get a code, but the part had an intermittent problem. I found this out with a live data OBDII while driving it. Once in every 5 seconds it read -30 for only a split second. It threw my air/fuel off, economy sucked, black exhaust tip, & poor throttle response. For me it was a $15. part. Yes, under the intake too, and a PITA. Just bite the bullit and change it!!!!

Thanks. Do you know what the name of the actual sensor is? Probably something I'd have to get straight from the dealer I assume.

Coolant temp sensor?

Or engine temp sensor? I bought the one I needed in Autozone.
