Underdrive pulleys

im looking into getting some underdrive pulleys. ive heard about the piggyback style and id rather not get those...

is there a difference in 5.4 and 4.6 pulleys??

the summitracing (non piggyback) is only offered on a 4.6 and the
BBK (piggyback) is only offered for the 5.4

i have the 5.4 but dont know if its ok to put on 4.6 pulleys...

thanks

if you get them from troyer or jusnes, they will make sure you get the correct ones.

Nothing Billet

Do NOT buy the ones selling in one peice billet aluminum for the dampener. Make sure you get a steel SFI approved set. I bought a set for my 4.6 F150 and did the reaserch. My engine is still on the building stand so I cant claim performance benifit yet. The ones I bought have the large weight mass in front of where the belt rides, instead of centered in the part. It seem to be the most solid and heavy dampener of all that are availible. Having a real dampener (not billet aluminum) and one with the most mass is important! Those cheap ones have been associated with broken oil pump rotors, and excessive engine vibration.
