Just had my CEL read and it is a P0308 code(cyl #8 Misfire) on my truck. This may seem like a silly question BUT I don't know where # 8 cyl is? That would explain the hesitation at low rpms especially in OD. Had the plugs replaced w/motocraft plugs at 100k. Truck now has 125K Thanks TSCHRO

But if you are on the orig. COP's, that could be the problem.

 

Yea , that's a weak coils favorite load range to misfire. Right after you shift into OD -about 45mph .
