So if any1 remembers...

It turned out my #7 plug wire was bad. Check it with an ohms meter, read absolutly nothing, made sure I was doing it right by checking other wires and they all read correctly. Replaced it with a new one, and bam! No more missfire.
My question now is, seeing that I did have Motorcraft plugs and wires put in just about 1 year ago (10,000 miles ago), why did one go bad???
Bad coil maybe?
Memory refresher: 98 F150 4.6L, was badly missfiring, first only when heavy engine load applied, then sometimes even during idle. I have two coil packs. Truck has about 122,000+ miles. Had Motorcraft plugs and wires put in at 115,000 miles (about a year ago). Also, after replacing both #7 plug and wire (the ones that were put in last year) I didnt notice any damage to either.

Was dielectric grease used when installing the new wires, a year ago?
How about this time?
Sometimes stuff like that goes bad. It has happened to all of us at one time or another.
I get 60k miles out of a set of plugs and wires. The wires may not be bad, but, since I am in there they get replaced anyways.
Glad to hear you found the problem.
Next time just post the update in your original thread. That helps those that follow it to know when new posts are there. That is generally the routine.
