Hey who all has done an engine swap on a f150. I have a 99 f250 ld which looks exactly like the f150 and the engine is blown. so Its out with the old and in with the new. Whats the best way to get the old engine out. Does the front clip come off like the older fords or is it best to yank it straight up through the engine bay like a car.

Most would take the intake-manifold off and the hood.And take it out like most cars.

The easiest way is actually lift the whole cab and take the tranny out with it.
