How many gaskets?
Guys,
Finally received the new engine to replace the one that blew in my 07 Harley/Saleen after only 500 miles.
It has arrived here in the UK minus oil pan and oil pickup/strainer.
I understand i have to take the timing and rocker covers off the old engine to fit to this new one.
The workshop who are installing the engine have asked me to source a gasket kit !!! Its a 5.4 3V.
Now, I have got a new oil strainer and pickup pipe, oil pan gasket and water pump gasket coming for it. What other gaskets are needed? I am told the old ones are contaminated !!!!
As they are O rings and reusable, how many others would there be?
