4.9 300 I6

4.9 300 I6

i have a chevy friend that has never heard of a 4.9 300 inline 6. we were just trying to figure out how big the bore and stroke would have to be inorder to get 300 ci out of just 6 cylinders? anybody know

The Haynes manual says 4.00 X 3.98 inches.

You want to see a big bore and stroke on a 6, look at the 6.7L Cummins diesel.........

A true truck engine - one of the few gas engines ever used in a Ford pickup that wasn't also used in a car. It was also widely used as a stationary industrial engine.
