Came out this morning and the 07 F150 wont start. The lights and radar detector still come on but it wont fire.



It there anything I can do to pull codes why I am waiting for the jumper cable to get here?



My uncle thinks i have some bad cells in the OE battery.

 

Try removing battery cables and then wait 15 minutes, then reattach them.

This action will reset the computer.

 

Well i jumped it off my 97 Burb and it fired first try.


Do you think my passport 9500i could be draining the battery? I have had this detector plugged in 24/7 for the last 4 months with no problems. And i even drove the truck yesterday.

I am going to have the battery tested later today.

 

oh and i connected teh Edge and show no codes.

 

nahh man its not the radar detector...ive got mine and my little ipod thing always pluged in and it doesnt drain my battery...you might get it checked tho it could have a bad cell cuz my ranger did the same thing...cranked off of a jump or if i pulled the postive post and some one turned thi ignition it would crank..took it to the parts store and they pluged it up and sure enough it had a bad cell
