Tps

well i got a new throttle body from a friend that ported and polished it for me. problem is i cant get the TPS off the old one. ive already stripped one of the screws, they just wont budge. is there an easy way to get it off? or would it be better to just buy a new one?

Always use an impact on those, only way I can get them. - Might be to late now ehh

You'll need a pair a vise grips on the one.

I replace my ralphed up screw heads with COP bolts - They last longer

Scratch that, I don't think those are COP bolts ?? I can't remember if those worked or not. No , they can't be , I know their 8mm . Not COP bolts or they would have to be 7mm.

Check out how much I tipped that TPS sensor ^^^^ You do whatcha gottuh do - Yea, I just noticed that..

To try to save the TB you might have to sacrifice the TPS.
Heat the bolt heads red hot and let cool. This is last resort actions to keep from breaking the bolt off then your stuck if it dosn't work.
It may swell the bolt enough the break the bond in the alum casting threads but damage the TPS.
Thereafter use anti seize on all threads and bolts.

Die grinder+small cutting wheel works every time and both are still in useable condition.
