Transmission won't seperate from engine

I'm trying to remove my M5R2 manual transmission from my 1990 4.9 F-150. I've removed the shifter, wiring harness & speedo cable, slave cylinder hydraulic line, cross member at the rear mount and all 6 transmission to engine block bolts. I'm supporting the engine with a jack and have the tranny chained to a transmission jack. I've tried rocking the tranny up and down, side to side etc. but it's not budging! Any tips?

Make sure you have absolutely all the bolts out. I remember forgetting a bolt at the top of housing when pulling the trans out of my '94 stang. Pissed me off to no avail. Starter pulled as well? Could be seized to the pilot....get a bigger hammer/prybar!!

If all bolts are out, probably stuck on the alignment dowel pins. Pry between the engine block and transmission above the bottom trans bolts on both sides. That should knock it loose.

This is what it was. It was stuck on the dowel pins so I pried and pried on both sides until it popped loose. Thanks for everyone's help!
