Just replaced Injectors
OK, i need some Techs advise here, just finished changing the fuel injectors on my 05 Screw. I had a few problems (once in a while) with restarting the Truck after it sat for a few minutes and thougt i change the injectors in case one of them leaks, before major issues appear.
I got the new injectors directly from Ford on the last visit to the states, a few weeks ago. Once i had the first injector unhooked i realised that it is absolutelly identical to the old one. Even the serial Nr. and manufakturer are the same. I ask specifically for the latest kind of injectors and they had to even order them, so i donīt think i got the old once that were left on the shelf, but didnīt Ford change the supplier after 2005? The package of every injector said 5C3Z but the injector itself had a 5C3E print, just like the old ones. Does anybody know or have an newer injector on hand to check for me? Thanks
