Had one, and ran it until recently(was too small to match my 75mm TB). I have installed a few on very diff. trucks and all the trucks picked up 0.10 in the 1/8th mile and never lost it back. They are not what they say they are but might help *alittle*. I never minded the whistle, but many of them don't whistle anymore.

not worth the money, the throttle body still will only allow so much air through regardless of where it is in the intake tubing.

A ported throttlebody, elbow (4.6) and manifolds are worth it.

X2 to that, I feel better response and it seems to hold RPM and climb better with light throttle application. The $156 for my TB and 4 hours of "massaging" my elbow was worth it and will support my future setup.

ive thought about getting the cold air intake, but because i go to the river quite a bit, and gravel roads ive been told to steer clear? as long as i dont soak it would it matter? and the exhaust i will be doing that in time.... and the efans... ive heard about them a bit but know nothing about them.. whats the scoop? and thanks alot

efans will free up 6-10 ponies, and improve several characteristics of your truck

extended water pump life, more room in engine bay, more cooling power, colder sooner AC.

CAI you will be fine as long as you dont submerge the filter. A true CAI would bring in cold air from outside the vehicle, some kits the filter is behind the fog lights on the bumper, which would be quite low from an off road point of veiw
