99 4.6 triton w/260,000 miles. faithfully maintained engine. 44k every other oil change and scheduled fuel induction clean. getting major hesitation and jerking when accelerating. installed new platinums, but no affect. could it be the coil packs or fuel injectors or something else?

 

New coils would probably be a good thing with that amount of miles. Vacuum leak is also possible and will cause such a reaction. Has your CEL came on yet?
