New to F150

New to F150

Hello there all.
I am new to the world of Ford.
I have been a Cadillac owner for almost 2 decades now.
I recently purchased a 1999 F150, and love it!
I was wondering, if someone could tell me if there is a way to read any codes on these?
Do you need an OBDII reader or is there a trick with the dash?

Welcome

You need an OBDII reader.
The trick with the dash is the instrument cluster diag mode and will not give you any OBDII codes.

Best choice you could have made, Cadillac is the worst G.M. product made, IMO. Well, Besides the Avalanche which is the ugliest thing on the road.
