need to install cam bearings, already started on lower end install/ problem- do not want to lug this thing back to shop- Any ideas on how to install bearings. have 4.2l v6

 

HI!... You need a can bearing installation tool. Don't try to install them without it. You will damage the bearings and possibly the cam bearing bore. I suggest you bring it to a local engine built shop and have them install them properly.
