iac restrictor

has anyone ever heard of this. came across it today just searching ebay. says it restricts your iac to keep high idle down when shifting. sounds like b/s

Got my vote for BS. That will set several codes and cause idle problems, not even sure if a custom tuner can work around that one.

The EGR will work only with a custom tune and if you do a search we have had great debate over how effective it is or isn't. I'm staying out of that one.

These restrictors are primarily used on vehicles with manual transmissions to help with hanging rpm between shifts. I have used one on my 04' MACH1 4.6L/ 4V engine for couple of years. Works as advertised! Only difference the one I used is made of stainless. Purchased from member on mach1registry.com web sight
