5-20 of your chosing.

I have 54k on my 5.4 with Napa/Valvoline dino, with no plans to switch. I do change at about 3k, usually closer to 4k.

Synthetics are the way to go. Thats all I use in all of my vehicles, easier startups, better mileage, also you can go longer between oil changes. Never had leaks because of synthetic oil.

I switched the oil in my '91 5.8L to synthetic at 87k, it has 114k on it now and no problems.

Old wives tale. Nothing will leak that isn't leaking already.

I switched over to synthetics on a used 5.0 w/ 200,000 miles - no problem.
