When did FX4 start?

When did FX4 start?
I know this may not be the right thread but I was trying to find out what year the FX4 line of trucks started? Thanks for the info.

The actual FX4 trim model started in 2004
Before that it was just available as a package, but I'm not sure when that started.

Started in 2002. Mostly it was Rancho shocks and a different sticker and newer wheels. Other than that, it replaced the 4x4 off-road.
