Engine Dying

During the fall my 04 SC 4X4 began to die when I would come to a stop. I took it to my local mechanic and he could not find anything wrong when it was put on the computer. He thought it might be a sensor. Anyway, the temperature in Kansas began to drop and the truck ran fine without dying. Yesterday it got up to the low 70's and my truck died twice on the way home from the fire department.
Is the weather causing this? Has there been any recalls that I don't know about or is it a sensor that just needs to be replaced? Any help would be appreciated.

It's possible it's the winter blend gas in hot weather - kind of like the old vapor lock issue back in the days of carburetors. I'd try different brands of gas if you buy all your gas at one place. Without a CEL it's kinda hard chasing down stuff like this.
