plug blew out

Angry plug blew out

2001 f-150 w/5.4l, i had a plug blow out im assuming and destroy a cop,now i cant get a new plug to thread in it just spins. Is my head stripped? is their anything i can do to fix it withoug taering my whole truck apart or spending lots o moola to have a shop or ford fix it. anyone please help.

You don't have to remove the head with this kit.

that kit works great!! i used it on my 2003 and have not had a prob yet! knock on wood. after i tapped the plug hole i duct taped and small length of garden hose to my shop vac and stuck it in the hole to get out all the shavings(while turning the engine over)Worked great!! good luck JUST TAKE YOUR TIME DOING IT!! if you F*ck it up it will be $$$$$$$$$$ Good luck!

Only when the plugs are installed wrong. - That's common.
