I just recently picked up a 97 F150 to make my project truck out of. It has a 4.6L bolted to a 4r70w and it's a 4x4. 3door extended cab and stepside bed.

I had done some looking around, and although some people mentioned doing this sort of swap, no one has posted having done it.

Whats going into it... A 2004 Aviator 4.6 DOHC with some slight mods and a customized upper intake plenum. Torque converter change, suspension drop, swaybars, lightning wheels, etc.

HI!... There have been plenty of 5.4, 4-valve swaps into F-150's but not too many 4.6 4-valve ones.
