Hey guys need input on this. My truck normaly starts right away after turning over for a half second latley it's been not starting right away i have to hold down the key for 4 or 5 seconds to get it to star not sure what it could be considering the fuel pump.

When did you last change your fuel filter?

 

When was the last tune up?

 

Try to give us a few more details... LIke is it starting slower? how does it run otherwise? LAst tune up, fuel filter change, air filter change. The simple things. MAybe we can help figure something out for ya.

 

how many miles on the truck? you ever replace the battery/ starter? when was last tune up and fuel filter chage? what spark plugs? Do you live were its cold?? im going to lean to battery/fuel filter/starter...in that order.

 

I swear the last 3 people with this problem all lived in Michigan

cleaned my IAC a while back no probs and my idle is up to about 650 700 RPMS in park from only 500 RPM's before....freaking cold weather!!! yeah people should use the search bar more ah Jbrew ? i cant use it at school i cant even post new threads!!!! i hate school computers nothing was ever blocked from this site before but then they put everything on a differnt data place and it messed up and blocks some parts of this site!
