high speed miss

alright i know its not an f150 but its a ford and i have an f150. lol a little help would be greatly appreciated

have a 2000 windstar with 118,000 miles on it. did a tune up at 100,000 with new plugs and wires. i dont remember what else was done at this time. it has started to miss at high speeds of about 75-80mph. the rpms do not go up or down and it usually comes in misses of 2-4+. it will stop by itself. i have had it in the shop twice for this reason. the first time they cleaned the MAF and changed the fuel filter. The second time it was doing the same thing except it had stalled out a few times just idling in park and it had a rough idle and low rpm at initial start up for some time. they changed the IAC and got rid of that problem. i still have the issue with the high speed miss though. i noticed an issue with the tranny this past summer when it began shifting out of overdrive very roughly, usually accelerating on the highway esp. with a hill. that is all i can think of right now. any help would be appreciated and if there are any questions let me know.

Your ignition system is similar to mine, and I had to change the coil pack to get rid of an elusive miss.
