As of right now, no engine lights have came on. But when I idle the truck, its got abit of a miss, causing the engine to give off a vibration when you rev it up. Its mostly apparent in lower RPM's, and more noticeably when I'm driving it. But its not happening 100% of the time. Which is throwing me for abit of a loop. The truck has a M5OD, and less than half a year ago we had the clutch replaced.

How many miles on your ignition? It may be time for a tune up

 

Haven't washed the engine recently. There is currently 220,000km on the truck, and we've had it since 160,000km.

Also, the first time I noticed it, as the problem has been intermittent, was when I noticed I was alittle low on oil, so I topped it up, using 1 litre. The truck couldn't go faster than 80km/h without violently shaking, problem seemed to dissapear when I took the litre of oil back out. That was probably a month and abit ago. Now I have the same vibrations, only not near as bad.
I'll probably end up swapping plugs on it within the next few days, and see if it gets any better.

 

I have 214,000 km on mine. I swapped engines about 60k ago but kept the 4.6 coils. About 2 months ago It would sputter when it was below freezing till the truck warmed up. I replaced the coils in Jan and the cold engine sputtering has gone.

PS. It is a good idea to check the plugs to see what condition they are in.
