Engine stalls upon acceleration
06 F150 Screw, Lariat, 4x4
Anybody having problems with engine stalling upon acceleration from a stop?
This has happened four times now during a left hand turn. I have to struggle with no power steering, having to negotiate the completion of the turn, and shifting into neutral to re start the engine, "all in the blink of an eye".
I've taken it to Ford two times now and each time, I've been told the same thing "They don't know what the problem is".
The computer says "error code", they've checked the MAF, along with everyting else.

Since you are seeing an error with no code, it suggest to me that the fault is clearing again if restarting is a success.
Any failure with such things as crank position, cam position and fuel pressure will instantly stop the motor.
I don't think mass air faults will do this to that degree.
I would look at sensor plugups for looseness then proceed to look at other related areas that would stop the motor.
If under warrenty, I would be inclined to 'very nicely' advise the dealer to get some help from Ford for this problem because if you have an accident from a known problem that there could be legal consequences from it as well as the insurance company may not be to happy about this.
If you have a wife that drives the truck, she may not be so lucky muscleing it to a safe stop.
Good luck.
