First... nice username...

Secondly, nothing is free when it comes up to increasing horsepower.

More $$ > More HP.

free horse power? not sure about that but you can get alittle extra ponies out of air intake, exhaust, uderdrive pulleys, edge or xcal programmer. none of this is free but wll give you alittle bit of extra hp

now for some real hp you can get a supercharger or a turbocharger... thats very pricey though

gears will also make you feel like you are getting more hp. they arnt really giving you any extra hp but it makes the truck more effiecently transfer power to the tires!

Cause I know on pre 04 150's theres a throttle cable trick to remove the slack! Now that's not HP but it's a trick...

although wieght reduction does not give more HP but it will make the truck lighter thus making the current horsepower be more inclinded to move the truck faster! just a thought!

thoght you would like that...
Weight: How does it effect Horsepower and Speed?
These rules assume there are no Aerodynamic forces (drag) coming into play.

Rule #1 : If you double the weight, it will require double the power to accelerate a weight at the same speed.
Example:
It takes a known amount of power and time to accelerate 500 lbs to 50 mph. If this weight is increased to 1000 lbs, it will take twice as long to accelerate to 50 mph, or the power will have to be doubled to maintain the same time.

Rule #2 : If the Power to Weight ratio is known, then removing that amount of weight will accelerate the bike as if the engine has gain 1 Horsepower. (that's why the bike is more fun with an empty fuel tank). Adding weight is like losing power.
Example:
Bike weighs 550lbs. plus 200 lbs. rider total = 750 lbs.
Horsepower is 150. Power / Weight ratio is 5 / 1.
Remove 5 lbs is same as 1 Hp increase

YES!! It takes the slack out of the Throttle cable making it more responsive!!

It involved all of a few zip ties, a Wire end with an eyelit, and I believe some heat shrink tubing...

I'm almost positve I saw it somewhere on this forum!!
But where...

C-MON GuYs... We need some

for free or close to free power you could cut or gut out the cats and the muffler. fill tires to max pressure. if its automatic you could take out the pointless e-brakes and cables. run 5w20 oil as recommended by ford. thats all i can think of right now.
