Aftermarket 3V cams question
I had a valvetrain failure on my '04 5.4L 3V, and wanted to upgrade while I'm forced to fix the engine.
Looking into the tuning aspects with adding ported heads and aftermarket cams. Huitt24 mentioned that his tuner and engine builder said that the cam phasers aren't up to the task on aftermarket cams.
It doesn't seem too far fetched with all things considered on these newer 5.4's and all the BS with the valvetrain in STOCK form, let alone modified. Does anyone know for sure if this is fact or fiction?
