Please help! I went out the other night after driving my 2004 F150 5.4L to work, and it would not start. The engine will crank over but it seems like it is not getting fuel or spark.

It sat out in the cold for a couple days and then in my heated garage for a night. Went to start it the next morning and I get nothing...

Define "nothing" in terms of what is or is not happening.

 

Nothing as in no fire?? Engine rolls over but never fires...

I replaced the fuel filter about 6 months ago. Been fine up until yesterday.
What things could I check at this point on my own to try to remedy this issue?
